I was reading one day on the internet about something called a little dog syndrome and it caught my attention. It lists out these symptoms that your little dog might be showing. Such as, always jumping up on people, standing on their masters lap "guarding" the master, and sleeping on their master's pillow. It is a ownership that the little dog has for their owner which in turn makes the dog protective of the owner and can turn the little dog vicous. The article was very interesting. What it broke down was that you don't let a 90 lb dog jump up on you, or sit on your lap or sleep on your pillow, so you don't let a little dog do it either. Adam and I have been teasing each other back and forth that Roscoe has little dog syndrome. I think what Roscoe has is a mistaken identity of a cattle dog.
Adam asked us to go feeding with him one Sunday and Roscoe was very excited.
This is when he realized Missi was on the back and he was stuck inside and couldn't get to the cattle.
Adam has a different kind of problem..but that is not to be discussed at this time.
Little Dog or Cattle Dog? That is the question.
After feeding the cattle Adam decided that he was going to get his ole dodge going, that was an expierence all of its own. I definatly give him an "A" for trying.
And trying....We would still be there putting fuel in the carborator and fuel tank, if not for having to go to church. Needless to say the old dodge is still sitting where it has been since last October. One of these days though..I am hopefull that I will look out at the horizon and while admiring my veiw, I won't see that beast.
This picture had a purpose when I took it, but now has a different meaning. This is the last picture that will have Missi in it. On February 1st, Missi was involved in an accident and did not make it. She was a part of the family, and had been Adam's best friend going every where with him for almost 5 years. We miss her greatly. She was a wonderful dog.
