Here we are first thing in the morning. Before we fully realize the day we have before us, before we could give in to hunger, crowds, exhaustion, and many other feelings we must learn to over come before the day is over. This is before a out of control hanger almost made my mom lose her eye. Honest Truth.
The day started with such hope, such promise. Our only mission, to find the perfect Prom dress for my beautiful niece. The problem started with the first store, the first dress, then the second..the third..the fourth....and so on. The problem lies with my beautiful niece. She is indecisive. Which is a horrible trait to have when you are around hundreds of dresses and hundreds of people. So the search is on..
And on....
This was about the time of the hanger incident, and mom was gone. She needed a "break". But that would not detour the rest of us.
But after riffling through dresses, we got to see her try them on and each one of them looked amazing on her. Notice the lady in the back. She is feeling the same as we are, she needs freedom, fresh air, a stong drink. She is a mom of a girl also trying on prom dresses.
I feel in love with this dress. It spoke to me, but not to Samantha. So we tried on even more, and then it happend.......
The Dress!! That sweet, sweet dress. That one that fought itself out of the others and stood out to be noticed.
And the crowd went wild
Until the crowd was reminded that shoes and jewelry was still needed.
XOXO - Sandi
