Love Reese's to pieces

It has been about a month since we lost Missi. Adam has been lost without her. So we started looking for a new blue healer. When I say "we" I really mean everybody. Not just Adam and I. I think when Missi died everybody lost a member of their family. After several failed tries, we tracked one down by Cuba, MO about 2 hours away. 

This is the little baby Reese. She is the newest addition to our family. She was born on my birthday! Eight weeks old exactly when we picked her up.

Adam feel in love with her right away. We know she can't fill Missi's place, but what is a family that lives in the woods without having a outside dog.

Roscoe thought differently. I think he was perfectly fine being a one dog family. This was the last time Roscoe looked at me, then stared out the window ignoring me until we stopped for dinner at McDonalds.

One big happy family. That is what we are.

This about five seconds after Reese had gotten sick. Luckily we had just stopped and Adam had rushed her outside. Like I said, one big happy family.

We then stopped at the grandparents to show our new puppy off. She was a big hit with them as well.

It was at this point Reese figured out that she was not with her family and started whinning and did not stop for twelve hours.

This is when she stopped. Just in time for her picture to be taken. This is Adam and Reese's first day of work together. The first of many. Roscoe has gotten adjusted to her as well. But that is another story for another time.
